The Castello Santa Maria was a heritage for people from Camaldoli in the 15th century and was then expanded by the "Congregazione dei servi di Maria" (Congregation of S. Mary’s servants). Today it’s a historical building and we offer a B&B service, half board, or full board, if requested. The structure includes a small church in which there are two frescos by Lorenzo da Viterbo, which date from around 1444.
The rooms within the Castle and the cottages on the grounds are surrounded by olive-trees and are a perfect mix of traditional 15th century design and modern comforts.

Cooking is our speciality, and this varies from classic to international dishes without forgetting the local traditions. Our ingredients are always fresh and of the best quality and are usually of local origin. Our professional staff is led by Serena who graduated from the Paul Bocuse Institute, Lion - France.
